Black Science and White Lies follows a man's journey through faith, identity, and redemption. Raised under strict religious doctrines in a society that believes in divine salvation, he becomes disillusioned and abandons his faith. Running away from home, he embraces a new ideology and joins a seemingly perfect society.
However, his growing doubts about this utopia drive him to escape and face the world's harsh realities. Returning to his estranged father, he reflects on his mistakes and seeks redemption, ultimately longing to reconcile with the beliefs he once rejected. The story explores themes of spiritual conflict, personal transformation, and the quest for atonement.

Catakomb, a thrilling newcomer to the Norwegian heavy rock scene, hails from Larvik in Vestfold, and their intense dedication to the genre is palpable. Their electrifying live shows, which have enthralled audiences worldwide, continue to garner enthusiastic acclaim. Drawing from a unique blend of influences, including the melodic sensibilities of Thin Lizzy, the dark energy of mid-era Black Sabbath, and the grunge-infused sound of Alice in Chains, Catacomb’s signature sound is a captivating fusion. Elevated by the blues-infused heavy rock vocals reminiscent of David Coverdale, their music is a journey yet to be explored.
The band is brimming with anticipation and excitement as they join forces with Crime Records for the release of their debut EP, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This ambitious project is a musical interpretation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible, a work of apocalypse literature attributed to John of Patmos. Each horseman has a dedicated song, Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. Each track is a sonic journey, promising to deliver powerful riffs, thunderous drums, robust bass lines, and guest solos that will ignite the senses. The EP is set to be unleashed on June 14th, 2024, and the band can't wait to share this musical journey with you.
Catakomb is more than just another heavy rock band; they are driven and poised to leave an indelible mark on heavy rock enthusiasts. This is only the initial stage of their journey, and they eagerly invite you to stay tuned for what lies ahead.

Determinist is Norway's progressive sludge masters Octohawk's sequel to their highly acclaimed debut album Animist. The album will hit fans of The Ocean, Mastodon, and Igorr right in the face.
With expanded diversity, heavier and more of the good stuff – Just the right kind of heavy!
The new album takes the listener out of the prehistoric world from Animist and into the current and future era of determinism: Humanity has left the world of mysteries, wonders, and chance. In a reality where all is calculated, analyzed, and predetermined, humans thrive on scientific progress, but at what cost? If everything is certain, humans have deprived themselves of the illusion of free will and the wonders of life.
Octohawk's sophomore album, Determinist, is a synopsis of the deterministic era, from the humble experimental beginnings to the complete coalescence with ever-flowing information. Each of the seven tracks represents the significant stages in this endeavor, from man on the ground to being a part of the eternal stream.

Profane Burial presents an atmospheric, dismal, and grim journey through unsanctified cinematic black metal, a sub-genre of black metal often featuring atmospheric and symphonic elements, drawing inspiration from film scores and other forms of orchestral music.
My Plateau is very intense and has a more extreme approach than the debut. It leans even further towards Black Metal, not only due to the high-pitched vocals but also because of the significant use of traditional tremolo guitars. The songs are quite intricate and progressive in both tempo and time signatures.

Death - the inevitable end of all things living. Since the dawn of time, humans have asked what lies beyond its veil, alas to no avail. It has been a fathomless source of creative inspiration within all aesthetic practices and will continue until the end.
Omnia Moritur is a Norwegian/Swedish band that delves into the most bottomless pits of darkness and death, blending traditional orchestrations with ripping death metal, polyrhythmic and somber elements of doom into something you have never experienced before. The lyrics explore the concepts of dying, madness, despair, questioning deities, and evoking the horrors and monsters of the mind.
Ex Inferis is the band's debut album. It contains seven pieces that will guide the listener on the journey through the dark, ominous, and disturbing landscapes that Omnia Moritur visualizes. This is not an album for the faint of heart, so beware.

A modern journey across the syncretic pantheon.
Strung together in a biblical, capricious structure, Revelations of the Mother Harlot reworks the themes of divinity, eternal renovation, and personal accountability through the optics of a decaying, technoistic society that’s fixed in its old destructive ways. It explores the mysteries embedded within Nature: our one true Mother, giver, and taker of all life.
Curated with quotes, metaphors, personal insights, and allegories, ROTMH aids its convoluted telling by recurring archetypal figures who provide landmarks across this death/rebirth narrative terrain.
In an attempt to revise the religious vestiges lurking inside my own source code, the Roman Catholic Church’s main influence was excreted throughout the whole aesthetic, themes, sonorities, and language employed. As a result, its bittersweet ambiance filled the air with visions of sickness, fear, hope, horror, ecstasy, longing, and despair, serving not only as a way to sublimate such complex states of mind but also as a call for self-examination, growth, and evolution.
The divine feminine awakens: One new race is finally born!

Endless greed – the pitfall of humanity? Once, a necessity for survival and a primal trait coded into our genes. Today, it seems more like a toxic trait for humanity as a whole. Something ugly that must be curbed and hidden in the closet. A trait that feeds into the tragedy of commons.
Infidus – the Norwegian/Swedish 5-piece – captures some dark messages with their debut album Endless Greed. However, the musical landscape is diverse with heavy riff passages and catchy melody lines, and you will find a bold blend of classic rock and modern progressive metal.
The album consists of 7 songs that will wake you up through a powerful vocal backed by tight and groovy riff sections. "The animal" behind the drums manages the art of combining both groove and some intricate odd beats and polyrhythms.
Endless Greed is a delicious meat bone – hard and tasty.

Dubbed by their local media as "brain-stimulating musical perverts", the original problem child of Icelandic rock, Ask the Slave, has been raising eyebrows since 2004, making music true to their credo of "wtf?!" Now, teamed up with esteemed Norwegian independent label Crime Records, and in collaboration with We Låve Rock Music, the band is ready to launch their third full-length album. The album in question, Good Things Bad People, is their first release in 11 years and their first to be distributed internationally.
Those already familiar with the group's back catalog will know better than expect a conventional rock record. In true Ask the Slave fashion, the album comprises a wide range of sounds and moods. Although presented in a coherent flow, the album manages to be at the same time heavy and dark, soft and beautiful, serious and angry, and silly. Brace yourselves for heavy riffs, grand choruses, clever guitar-interplay, haunting melodies, catchy pop hooks, twists-and-turns, odd time signatures, far-out character-play, and a healthy dose of internal band humor.
This album is released in co-operation with We Låve Rock Music.

An animist perceives all things - animals, plants, rocks, rivers, oceans, and mountains - as animated, and it all comes to life in Octohawk’s debut album.
With Animist, the Norwegian 5-piece denotes not a single creed or doctrine but a diverse otherworldly landscape of progressive, melodic, and abrasive music. Filled with thundering beats, heavy riffs, ripping vocals, and entrancing soundscapes, Animist represents the shapeless nature of real chaos.
The album, comprised of 10 crushing tracks, is an eventful experience. Rich in content and surprises, this album will delight all fans of sludgy, proggy, and groovy heavy metal.
Detached from all boundaries, Animist soars through many metal genres - seamlessly from powerful to ethereal and back with dual momentum.
With their debut album Animist, Octohawk lays down a solid foundation for their musical universe.
