Crime Records AS is an independent music label with the main focus on Metal and Hard Rock. It was founded in Skien, Norway in 2013, by Martin Steene and Petter Hennum. At that time Martin Steene, who's known for a long music career himself, was the driving force behind the company. Since then Mr. Steene has moved back to Denmark and is breathing the fire back into his main band Iron Fire. Therefore Thomas Steen-Larsen has taken over the role of CEO and Bjørn Goberg Thorstensen is strengthening the A&R division.
In a business known for being shady and dishonest, Crime Records AS sets new standards for what an artist-friendly and loyal music label should be like. Despite the name, which is a big humoristic middle finger to the rest of the declining music industry, Crime Records AS is based on love for the music, and not for the hard-earned money from artists who can't afford a lawyer. The industry might have seen better days, but with love and knowledge we can help artists focusing on what they do best; Create music and entertain the masses!
